Anne attended Smith College and graduated from the University Michigan School of Music with a Bachelor of Music. During the course of her adult life she has been an active performer, playing the piano for the Grosse Pointe Unitarian Church, for musicals, in a swing band, with a partner in many two piano recitals, and annually for the Grosse Pointe Chamber Music with a violinist and occasionally with a cellist. In 1978, she founded a local women’s singing group “Noteworthy”. There are sixteen women in the group and they sing a capella as well as with accompaniment. “Noteworthy” is a very popular local group and they get many “gigs” each season.
As a volunteer she has served on the Board of Directors of the Grosse Pointe Symphony and the Junior League of Detroit as well as other local arts organizations.
Anne lives in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, for six months of the year. It has been her lifelong home. During the winter months, she and her husband live in Bonita Springs.
